Mabvuku residents pin hopes on MP James Chidhakwa to solve water crisis

Residents in Mabvuku have pinned hopes on their youthful legislator, James Chidhakwa to solve water crisis which has been persistent for more than a decade.

Scores of residents in Mabvuku who opened up to Open Parly said running water had become very scarce and most of them have been forced to resort to other sources of water.

“The situation is not getting better; we are still largely relying on boreholes built by United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) for water to use in our homes and we look forward to our MP to help alleviate water shortages,” said a Mabvuku resident.
